We verify every seller via Aadhaar, set fixed fair prices (no bargaining), physically inspect every item at our rebarse Center, and handle pickup and delivery through our own fleet. You never share your phone number, never meet a buyer, and never carry cash to a parking lot.

What can I buy, sell, or swap on rebarse?

Accepted Answer

Premium pre-owned electronics (phones, laptops, tablets, cameras, gaming consoles, audio gear, smartwatches) and premium fashion (designer sneakers, luxury watches, branded bags, accessories). Anything outside these categories isn't supported at launch — we're deliberately staying focused on high-value items where trust and verification matter most.

How does rebarse make sure I'm not buying a fake or a lemon?

Every item is collected by a rebarse Executive and brought to a local rebarse Center, where our team performs a Standard Identity & Match Check — verifying the brand, condition, serial number (if applicable), and invoice match the listing exactly. For electronics, you can also opt into a Professional Diagnostic Audit, which uses non-invasive software to check internal health like battery life and sensor performance. Factory seals stay perfectly intact.

How is the price decided? Can I negotiate?

Prices are set by our pricing engine using live market data and the item's verified condition — you get a Fair Market Price recommendation when you list. Once a listing goes live, the price is strictly non-negotiable. There's no Make an Offer button and no chat between users. Buyers either click Buy Now or move on.

How does swapping (Barter) actually work?

You list what you have and add what you want to your Wishlist. Our algorithm finds a reciprocal Match — someone who has what you want and wants what you have. If the items are different in value, the app calculates a fair Top-Up cash amount to balance the trade. Both items are picked up, verified at the rebarse Center simultaneously, and only swapped if both pass inspection.

Is my payment safe? What if something goes wrong?

Every payment is held in rebarse Escrow until the transaction is verified. If the item fails our verification, the deal is canceled and your money is refunded. Funds are only released to the seller after the buyer confirms delivery via OTP. You're never sending money directly to a stranger.

Do I have to share my phone number or address with the other person?

Accepted Answer

No. Phone numbers and home addresses are never exchanged between users. The only person who sees your address is the verified rebarse Executive handling pickup or delivery. Buyers and sellers stay complete strangers throughout the transaction.

rebarse charges a service fee that covers logistics (doorstep pickup and delivery), verification at the rebarse Center, and professional packaging.
